You read that right. I just got back from Hong Kong, this year shopping scheme is "Discover Hong Kong 2006".

 

I started my journey three days ago with Cathay Pacific Airways. Arrived in hong kong about two pm in the afternoon. Checking in the hotel "Majestic" about five pm.

 

There's nothing to comment the hotel. The hotel was brillian. Left me nothing to talk about. I thinkg it is one of the worst hotel in Hong Kong. Starting from a small room with tiny lobby. The noisy night with music from i don't know where all night long. Bad bell services. No Breakfast.... anyway. As i said, There is nothing good to talk about.

 

Move to the shopping area, It was all quite fantastic. I could do a little chinese mixing with English. Mandarin English is quite average and bearable. It is one of the nice place you can shop, in the big store. But in the small store or on the street, It is just like every chinese salesperson in the whole world. Thais is pig. Pay stupid price for stupid stuff. So do beware, and you will need to be talented in bargaining the price case it will be vary. But don't be too much cause if so they will think that you are Truely Chinese, which they might or definetly hate.

 

The new fantastic modern Airport, It is all computerized and operated by professional staff. The well design terminals makes me feel very comfortable. The runway is so smooth that you'll feel like the plane was not moving. Unlike Bangkok, It is just when the plane hit runway I thought that it was going to break apart.

 

Travelling by ourself is very convinient you can do anything anytime you want. If you are with tour group, you will have to do exactly as plan. I wake up almost ten everyday la.

 

Finally, The temperature is excellent. Not too cold like the northern China or Europe. Not too hot like Thailand. It is just fine. But the humidity is too dry. If it just as Thailand it would be great.

I can't do anything weird anything wild, since my exam does not finish yet. I have to stay focus on the test, a single test. Since sending a wonderful Image Processing Project which i think that mine yields the best result out of all group doin the same field. I start to rest and doin quite nothing at all. Feeling very lonely and hopeless to the days to come. Network is not something that i hope for. Why couldn't it just end.

 

Not just an ordinary summer, I have to do alot of thing this summer. No time to waste.

On Thursday,

 In the evening, i went to aberdean customer party to celebrate ten years of aberdean investment in thailand. It's a cocktail party with, may be i can say, a very few feast. I took one white wine, one red wine, and one champange which is quite sour i don't know what to say, i hadn't drunk it before ever in my life. So it's my fist bad experience. But any way good italian tast. Rajadamri 100, is the brand new restaurant. Just open, i guess, because it is quite new and i've seen it before when i passed that area. It is my first time seeing it overthere.

 

On Friday,

  Evening again, After boring SAD and boring after noon SADing. I went to Bye'Nior at Mandarin Hotel. What a old hotel. May be three star and a half hotel.

 

Today,

   Still do the boring SAD. again...... So SAD doing this

Waking up early n the morning to sit and sleep at the department. So sleepy.

 

Reading papers and documents make me sick. I almost can't bare it. There r a lot of homework. Assigned a new one after sending one. I have no break at all. It is so cruel.

 

Reading MTS vs EJB, hopefully it will be completed soon.

 

By the way who is eigen. He also make me sick too. Have to study his vector algorithm and description also it's appliation on factial feature extraction. Very sick.

 

Today, i've got a headache or it just that i'm so sleepy.

 

I've to go now, study Image Processing in ten minutes

Have you been wondering why this software got this name. I've been thinking and wondering for a very long time. Is it like naming a child that it must be a good name for a good future. or something else.

 

From several day that i have benn working with all my friends on the database course project. I tend to know why it is Oracle.

Because It can predict life and death of all student stuyding database.

Because It can overwhelm all the network bandwidth with only one query.

Because It can make all the system failed just selecting a wrong table.

 So Oracle is no god, Oracle is no software, Oracle is no application.

The only one thing Oracle is ....... is ...... One Red And Clumsy Lousy Enterprise software

Today i'm home alone working with distributed system and database application.

Still hoping everything will be just fine. Because right now i cannot thinking of any plan and anything to do. I only just can think of the thing that is in front of me... like tomorrow distributed system homework.

 

Just Can't wait to end this semester and enter the summer break...

From time to time, I haven't wrote this blog for so long. And today it's getting nuts again. It is very close to the deadline of almost all of my coursework project and I have just begun several of them. So it's quite exiting and it is really a time to panic. DB SA and Imaging is all huge project with the deadline at hands and I still don't have quite a good idea how to begin or wrap it up.

 

By the way, My selecting coursework is quite hard too. Never thought it is gonna be this way, But it is anyway. So long my humanity.
